Curtiss King is a producer who has collaborated with some of the best about: Kendrick Lamar, E40 and Ab-Soul. This tune is off his forthcoming album ‘Creatine’ to be released via Alpha Pup Records on 12th Feb. A dope hip-hop drum beat runs throughout, which allows Curtiss King to highlight his synth ability, layering riffs and solos above jazz electric pianos, with a smooth upbeat switch up around the 1.30 min mark. This is a great example of the cali hip-hop funk. Check it out.
