Bewilderbeast – Talking About Love

This is a jam. A real jam. Bewilderbeast aka Gus BC is a producer from South London, and he definitely brings the vibes on this track. It’s an engaging, warping piece of electronic music. Influences of deep house, techno and synth-pop are all distilled to create this little gem of a track. Expect grooving drums, … More Bewilderbeast – Talking About Love

Max Graef & Glenn Astro – The Yard Work Simulator

These guys must never get time to sleep. This is another piece of collaborative work from Max Graef and Glenn Astro the young kings of groovy techno. This track features a mixture of warped electric jazz piano, uptempo drum patterns, funk synth solos, disco type bass line and an almost electro-pop breakdown. I’m running out … More Max Graef & Glenn Astro – The Yard Work Simulator

Lawrence – Ava

This is one of the best house/tech tunes I’ve heard this year. Lawrence, is a producer from Hamburg, and recently dropped his LP, Yoyogi Park, the whole thing is a must listen, but this track in particular did it for me. Minimal synth riffs, grooving drums and little warps and bubbles that show his rhythmic ability. The … More Lawrence – Ava

Cleveland – Atlas

Cleveland is a producer from Luxembourg who is releasing his forthcoming EP on Hivern Discs, run by the main man himself, John Talabot. Atlas is the title track from this project and it’s great. Ethereal synth patterns, tech-house drums and a general all round fuzzy warm feeling. Don’t do drugs kids. This track has been … More Cleveland – Atlas

Zora Jones – First Light

This tune has been spinning around my head all day. Solid piece of experimental techno from Zora Jones here. The arpeggiator is nice and bright which matches the chirpy vocal samples. There’s also something quite filmic about it; it just keeps rising and leaves you wanting more. Released via Fractal Fantasy.
