Wade Hampton is a 19 year old singer from Dallas & Nashville. This tune is dope. The beat hosts nice vocal samples, big bassy 808s, ticking drums and Wade’s voice chills on top of all of it – the melodies work really well with the synth.
He lets out his emotion and you can tell the vulnerable nature of the lyrics; it sounds real, which is nice change from the normal R&B/Trap vibe of just being a braggadocio. It gave me that 4am feeling when you’re lying with a chick you’re just getting to know…It’s got Post Malone/Spooky Black vibes to it. Nice stuff here, peep the video below.
