BOOty are a collective from LA and at first the band name threw me off a little… but wow this is like going to Church – hence the name Holy, and man is it holy. These guys have managed to conjure the spirit of gospel, big band rhythm, blues and funk. A beautiful gospel piano ride along as strings fly in out, big basses, guitars riffs and quite incredible vocals. It feels like they’ve taken you back through time, right back to the present… if that make’s any sense. Really well written song, awesome melodies and the instrumentation is special. Very evoking.
