I’m genuinely blown away by this one… Liv Dawson is a singer from Surrey, and she has released her debut single, Tapestry. I’ve must have listened to it about 10 times in a row! She layers her voice with so much delicacy but real power. The backing beat is minimal but all encompassing, a big bass wobbles in the background, reverb piano, warm strings and guitar licks. But the star of the show is the vocal; there is so much soul in her harmonies and melodies, they take you away. Really awesome tune, not surprised she’s being support by Annie Mac, Mistajam and even Elton John! Looking forward to more!
