If you’re not awake yet, this will wake you up. This is one of the singles off the long awaited debut album, titled Donna, from Cassy, to be released via Aus Music on 24th June. Route to Thonon, is a dark, brooding piece of techno. It sounds like the inner rumblings of a computer dancing. Warped bassline, mechanical chimes, scatty hi-hats and a building synth melody. Then around the 2.10 min mark there is a house electric piano which equalises the dark nature of the first half of the song. Looking forward to the album.
