SERI-XCIII

Dessert are a three piece from the US, and oh my have they made some fire on this one. DEVIL starts off as a garageband type recording of acoustic guitar and vocals, and then drops into this big bassy, warped synth smash, sounding a bit like Jai Paul/Ben Khan. Then at the 1.30min mark, the track turns into drone wobbles, which sounds like a helicopter crying. But wait, that’s not all, it switches up again, to an ethereal piece of spacey synths, with slow vocals, and a pitched down Tyler, The Creator type voice. This is definitely something special. It will take a couple listens just to get your head round it, but most certainly worth it.
