James Blake released a follow up to Modern Soul on his BBC Radio 1 Residency. And, well, it’s everything you want from a James Blake record. Oozy synth patterns, warped bass lines, ethereal vocals from the main man, and if I’m not mistake a cheeky sample from 50 cent’s 21 questions. Really, interesting piece of work, and exactly what I want to be listening to.
