Sango – Mais Mais Mais

Man, I love Sango. There are so many producers out there doing similar things to him; funky beats, trap drums and dope sampling, but none of them do it quite like him. In a sea of similarity, he is an island of difference. He has honed this trap samba vibe so well, and it’s so refreshing to hear; something that’s funky, bassy, heavy and generally boss. ‘Mais Mais Mais’ is a three track EP, the first tune ‘Infinidade’ gives you that perrera vibe, similar to his tune ‘Agorinha‘. Track two, ‘F.L.O.R’, is a dope mixture of bossa nova electric pianos and trap drums, very funky, my favourite tune on the tape. The final track features his Soulection buddy Chris McClenney to remix  Bryson Tiller’s ‘Don’t’, this tune reminds me of the stuff Sango did with SPZRKT on ‘The Hours Spent Loving You‘ tape. Sango caters to everyone with this one. Nice work sir, salute.
