nonkeen are a producer trio from Berlin. ‘chasing god through palmyra’ is their latest release on R&S Records from their forthcoming album ‘the gamble’, and what a track it is. It is a beautiful slow build, starting with a reverbed shaker, echoey synths and grumbling bass notes. As the track continues, layers of higher key electric piano glaze the top, with rumbling vocal samples underneath. This really is a journey, or a chase.
