Wayne Snow is someone I’m very excited about. I first heard his song Running with Max Graef (of Tartelet Records) a couple weeks ago and it’s been on rotation, daily, ever since. Warping synths and 90s R&B drums perfectly combine with Wayne’s warm reverb’d vocals. The Nigerian born singer hosts a truly awesome combination of future sounds and old school R&B, reminiscent of Lauryn Hill and elements of A Tribe Called Quest.
Also have a listen to his release on Boiler Rooms Debut titled Rosie, which feels like listening to D’Angelo incarnate, and his song with Darius titled Helios an ambient piece of music than can easily be kept on repeat. Get excited about Wayne Snow.
